Very effective plants absorb pollutants in the air in the interior.

Dr. Bill Wolverton who led the study revealed, some types of plants can absorb pollutants in the air in the room.
"The combination of technology and potted plants is very effective in cleaning the air. Leaves and roots of plants changing role of oxygen and reduce the chemical toxicity in the air, "said Wolverton.
These plants can reduce levels of formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon monoxide in the air of the room.
Ten plants that could prove effective air freshen the room according to the study are:
- Palm (Chamaedorea seifritzii)
- Chinese evergreen / sri provision (Aglaonema modestum)
- Home Ivy (Hedera helix)
- Gerbera (Gerbera jamesonii)
- Janet Craig Dracaena varieties
- Dracaena marginata
- Sri ivory (Dracaena Massangeana)
- In-law's tongue (Sansevieria Laurentii)
- Chrysantheium morifolium
- Dracaena Warneckii
